The invitation to rebirth and find something new
It’s April and despite the rainy start (at least here in Europe) spring is well and truly here! New life is emerging slow and sure from previously bleak landscapes. There are dabs of colour everywhere and it feels like such a blessing! Spring brings a feeling of hope, beauty and possibility. Nature speaks a story of renewal, rebirth and transformation, borne of intensity and adversity.
Is this somehow true for you too?
Perhaps you too can celebrate coming through the winter and emerging bright, hopeful and wise… or simply celebrate that you have emerged!
You have endured. How are you feeling?
Life IS a perpetual journey of showing up and moving through. Shedding what no longer aligns or fits with who you are becoming.
What are you shedding? What is calling to be rebirthed? Where can you feel a sense of newness, colour, prospect or possibility appearing in your life? What can you look at afresh, with new eyes, with a lens of curiosity, discovery, hope or wonder?
Do you want to try on a new activity, a new way of being, thinking or seeing?
I am feeling more desire for fun, play and new experiences! My mind feels light with possibility as I continue learning and training in mindfulness and somatics.
What is giving you a sense of hope?
Spring is a time for awakening the senses, and when we do they truly bring us out of our heads and into the present moment, into the joy and wonder of being alive.
It can be hard to get there when your body and mind are overwhelmed with unpleasant sensations, thoughts or circumstances. This is often the case when your life is whittled down to the 'must-dos'. Finding a tiny bit of pleasure, a small degree of freedom and possibility, whatever our circumstances, can resource us and build resilience within us.
If you need some help arriving and staying there either get in touch or book a Clarity Call to see how I can help you.
'Spring is far more than just a changing of seasons; it's a rebirth of the spirit' ~ Toni Sorenson
